Torsion Axis Servo CNC Press Brake

The PSN Series Torsion Axis Servo CNC Press Brake is designed for stable,
high-precision sheet metal bending. Featuring a torsion shaft synchronization
structure and servo-controlled backgauge system, it delivers reliable accuracy,
rigid frame stability, and efficient operation for industrial metal forming applications.

Torsion Axis Servo CNC Press Brake

The PSN Series torsion axis servo CNC press brake is engineered for precision
sheet metal bending with excellent structural rigidity and operational stability.
The whole machine adopts a welded steel plate frame, treated by vibration aging
to eliminate internal stress and ensure long-term accuracy.

This series uses a torsion shaft synchronization mechanism combined with
servo-controlled systems to maintain consistent ram movement on both sides.
Mechanical stops and a stable torsion axis ensure reliable bending accuracy
even during long work cycles.

The CNC-controlled backgauge and ram stroke allow precise positioning and fast
setup. The machine is suitable for general fabrication, enclosures, cabinets,
steel structures, and other sheet metal forming applications.

Machine Configuration Overview

Performance Features

Designed for precision sheet metal bending, combining electro-hydraulic synchronization, structural rigidity, and reliable CNC control.

High-Rigidity Welded Frame

The machine adopts a fully welded steel plate structure combined with vibration aging treatment, effectively eliminating internal stress and ensuring high rigidity, strength, and long-term structural stability.

Torsion Bar Synchronous System

Dual hydraulic cylinders work together with a torsion bar synchronization mechanism, providing stable left-right balance, smooth ram movement, and consistent bending accuracy across the full working length.

CNC-Controlled Backgauge & Ram Stroke

Backgauge positioning distance and ram stroke are precisely controlled by the CNC system, enabling fast setup, repeatable positioning, and efficient operation for both single-piece and batch production.

Optional Deflection Compensation

An optional deflection compensation device is available to reduce bending angle deviation, especially for long workpieces or higher precision requirements, improving overall bending consistency.

FAQ

All specifications are provided by our engineering team based on actual machine configurations and production experience.

We offer a complete range of CNC press brakes for sheet metal bending, including electro-hydraulic synchronous press brakes, torsion bar press brakes, tandem (dual-machine) press brakes, and customized special-purpose press brakes.
Our main series include PSB, PSM, PSN, PSD, PSA, and PSS, covering light-duty to heavy-duty industrial applications.

Press brake tonnage depends on material type, material thickness, bending length, and die opening.
As a general reference:

Tonnage ≈ (650 × S² × L) / V

Where:

  • S = material thickness (mm)

  • L = bending length (m)

  • V = die opening (mm)

Our engineers can calculate the exact tonnage and recommend the most suitable model based on your actual production needs.

Electro-hydraulic synchronous press brakes use servo valves and closed-loop control systems to achieve higher accuracy, better repeatability, and stable synchronization, making them suitable for precision and heavy-duty bending.

Torsion bar press brakes use mechanical synchronization and are more cost-effective, ideal for standard bending operations with moderate accuracy requirements.

Our CNC press brakes can achieve:

  • Slider positioning accuracy: ±0.01 mm

  • Bending angle accuracy: ±0.1° (depending on configuration and tooling)

Accuracy may vary based on material properties, tooling, and operator settings.

Our press brakes are suitable for bending a wide range of materials, including:

  • Mild steel

  • Stainless steel

  • Aluminum

  • Copper

  • Brass

  • Galvanized steel

Maximum thickness depends on machine tonnage and bending length.
